I am an artist, instructor, and superhero promoting the importance of creative education and community participation in the arts that are active and inclusive. I am an advocate of awesomeness empowering people to be their best virtual and tangible self by advancing excellence, exceptional pursuits, and individualism through creative expression and encouraging instruction with inspired results. I create one of a kind handcrafted art, apparel, textiles, computer assemblages, sculptures, videos, and publications that embrace the empowerment of brilliant hues, originality, and acceptance. My work and research is about how color is perceived physically and psychologically. I love helping people to achieve a strong sense of their own color choices and utilize the power of color communication.

My love of science and nature’s colorful beauty influences my artwork. A great deal of my artwork is crafted from textile methods and playful interpretations of identity through colorful means. My personal goals are to develop acceptance among people and inquiry about distinction and equality. I create a selection of designs and products that are colorful and unique from the starting point of hand dyed yarn and fabric to hand painted and hand woven fabric made into apparel. All of my superhero capes, scarves, and shawls are hand dyed through color shifts of brilliant gradations assuring that no two are alike. I also design my own fabric to create distinctive art apparel on several different forms of fabric. The art apparel made of hand dyed and distinctive fabric yardage contains kaleidoscopic color blends with an eloquent flair. My art apparel is a commitment, not just a statement.

The skeins of yarns are all dyed in vivid and exciting colorways in several fiber types like cotton, rayon, wool and mohair. The apparel made of hand dyed and hand woven fabric yardage contains kaleidoscopic color blends with an eloquent flair. Each item of clothing is a one of kind piece of art made of cotton, silk, rayon, wool, mohair and nylon.
